Adjunct Instructor – PTEC- Tonkawa
Northern Oklahoma College Tonkawa is seeking evening adjunct instructors for the the Division of Engineering, Physical Science and Process Technology specifically for the Process Technology Program. Teaching areas available include lecture and laboratory sections for Process Technology courses. These courses focus on specific job requirements for positions in refineries, gas plants, and other processing facilities. Areas of instruction may include: introduction to process applications, systems, operations, instrumentation, and/or equipment. Minimum requirements are completion of an associate’s degree and strong work experience in the processing industries. Preference will be given to specific candidates with a bachelor or master’s degree and prior teaching experience. A successful candidate will exhibit strong communication skills and a demonstrated understanding of the particular processing area to be taught. Adjunct Instructor- Physics or Engineering- Enid or Tonkawa
Northern Oklahoma College Enid and Tonkawa is seeking a day time adjunct Physics and/or Engineering Instructors. Teaching area includes lecture and laboratory sections of trigonometry based General Physics or Engineering courses. Applications will be taken until the position is filled. Applicants should have a master’s degree with at least 18 graduate hours in physics and/or related engineering courses and exhibit strong communication skills. Northern Oklahoma College Tonkawa is seeking an adjunct instructor to teach and direct the Jazz Ensemble. Applications will be taken until the position is filled. Applications are being accepted by Northern Oklahoma College Tonkawa for a full-time nursing instructor. A minimum of an MS degree with a major in nursing or an MSN degree is preferred with at least 2 years of full-time clinical experience. Duties begin Spring 2020 semester. Applications are being accepted by Northern Oklahoma College- Stillwater Campus for Adjunct Nursing Lab Instructor- Tuesday and Thursday morning. A minimum of an MS degree with a major in nursing or an MSN degree is preferred with at least 2 years of current full-time clinical experience. Duties begin the Spring 2020 semester. Business Instructor- Tonkawa- Full time
Northern Oklahoma College Tonkawa is currently seeking a qualified instructor for the Business Division beginning in the fall 2020 semester. A minimum of a master’s degree in Business is required, either MS in Accountancy or MBA with graduate hours in Accounting preferred. Must have excellent communication and computer skills. Teaching experience or professional experience in business related field is preferred. Teaching areas could include but are not limited to Accounting courses, Introduction to Business, Personal Finance or Computer Applications related courses. Applications will be considered until the position is filled. The position will be primarily located on the Tonkawa campus, but may have a split teaching load on the Stillwater or Enid campuses. Night courses could be a required as a part of the 15 hour per semester teaching load. A minimum of a master’s degree with eighteen graduate hours in English is required. Candidates must have strong communication skills and previous teaching experience is preferred.
